FACILITIES

The Syzoi Association is housed in the Day Care Centre for people with visual impairments and additional disabilities “SYZOI”, at 5 Rodopoleos Street in Kalamaria.

In April 2008, the Municipal Council of the Municipality of Kalamaria unanimously granted a 376 sq.m. plot of land to the Association for the construction and operation of the Centre. In November 2010 the construction of the Centre started and was completed in spring 2012 thanks to the generous donations of Mrs. Lefkothea Matis and the Panhellenic Association of Manufacturing Industries & Industries of Greece. Tobacco Trading Companies, who also supported our efforts in the supply of the basic equipment. In January 2013, it started its pilot operation with the first 9 children of the Association. Since April 2024 the Association “SYZOI” participates in the Operational Programme “Central Macedonia 2021-2027”, Priority Axis “Promotion of Social Cohesion in Central Macedonia – EKT+ Intervention” through the Act “KDIF – SYZOI” with IPS Code 6004826.
