Syzoi Association is housed at the Day Care Center (KDIF) for visually impaired people with additional disabilities “SYZOI”, on 5 Rodopoleos Street in Kalamaria.

In April 2008, the Municipal Council of Kalamaria proceeded unanimously with granting a 376 sq.m. plot to the Association for the construction and operation of the Center. In November 2010, the construction began and was completed in the spring of 2012, thanks to the generous donations of Mrs. Lefkothea Matis and the Panhellenic Association of Tobacco Manufacturing Industries & Trading Companies, who strengthened our efforts and supplied the Center’s basic equipment. In January 2013, the Center initiated its pilot phase, welcoming its first 9 children from the Association. In November 2016, the Action “KDIF – Syzoi” was included in the Operational Program “Central Macedonia 2014-2020” with OPS Code 500173.

The Center has a speech therapy room, special education room, music therapy room, snoezelen room, and a gym where sports, music and movement activities, physiotherapy sessions, and sensory integration (S.I.) programs enrich the experience of the participants.
