Syozoi, in collaboration with the Association of Freelance Pediatricians of Northern Greece, organizes the Scientific Workshop “Early Diagnosis-Early Intervention in infants and children with visual disorders and additional disabilities”, on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The conference is addressed to pediatricians (pediatric neurologists, developmental neonatologists, neonatologists), pediatric ophthalmologists, pediatric psychiatrists – therapists, mental health specialists, nurses, pedagogues, and other scientists, but also to parents, in order to understand the importance of early intervention, necessary for the future development and acquisition of the child’s maximum skills and improvement of his/her quality of life, as well as the early diagnosis and detection of possible developmental disorders in high-risk infants, leading to the immediate design of the individual intervention plan and with the ultimate goal of enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration in promoting early intervention.
At the same time, the important role of the innovative interventions implemented in the environment of Syozoei, the process of integration in early educational and therapeutic intervention, and the role of parents in the holistic programme implemented will be highlighted.
